New Springtime Reading: My Favorite Cannabis Books for 2022

I’m excited about these books because they offer a wealth of information about cannabis and its many uses for both recreational and medicinal purposes.

Some of my favorites include:

  • The Little Book of Cannabis” by Amanda Siebert

  • A Handbook of Cannabis for Clinicians” by Dr. Dustin Sulak

  • Weed Mom” by Danielle Simone Brand

  • Midlife Magic” by Kim Sarsons.

Whether you’re new to cannabis or an experienced user, these books will provide you with plenty of useful information about this versatile plant.

So grab a cup of coffee or your water bottle, get outside, and enjoy some great springtime reading. I feel like a hammock should definitely be involved if at all possible, don’t you?

"The Little Book of Cannabis" by Amanda Siebert

The Little Book of Cannabis is a comprehensive guide to all things cannabis, offering an in-depth look at the history of this fascinating plant and its many uses for both recreational and medicinal purposes.

Siebert covers everything from the earliest origins of cannabis use to the latest scientific research on its potential therapeutic applications.

She also provides practical advice on safely and responsibly incorporating cannabis into your daily life, making this an essential resource for anyone interested in learning more about this versatile plant.

Whether new to cannabis or an experienced user, The Little Book of Cannabis is a must-read that will give you all the information you need to fully appreciate and enjoy this unique plant.

I have given this book to friends and family more than five times, I think it is approachable, and I call it my “civilian” book, as opposed to our next book on the list, which is intended for a more “clinical” audience.

"Handbook of Cannabis for Clinicians" by Dr. Dustin Sulak, D.O.

A Handbook of Cannabis for Clinicians is a holy grail for anyone interested in the latest scientific research on cannabis and its potential therapeutic applications.

Dr. Sulak provides an overview of the latest findings on how cannabis affects the human body and practical advice on incorporating it into clinical practice.

This book is an essential resource for healthcare professionals who want to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in cannabis research and learn how to utilize this plant in their practice effectively.

I like giving this book to canna-curious friends in the medical field, RNs, and those comfortable with a more clinical approach.

"Weed Mom" by Danielle Simone Brand

Weed Mom is a go-to for any mother (or really any woman!) who wants to learn more about the transformative power of cannabis as a tool for healing and self-discovery.

Written in an engaging, relatable tone, Brand explores the highs and lows of motherhood in the era of legalized cannabis, offering valuable insights into how this plant can support women’s health and wellness.

Whether you’re a new mom looking for alternative methods of self-care or a seasoned cannabis user who wants to better understand its effects on the female body, Weed Mom is an essential resource that will help you unlock the transformative potential of this misunderstood plant.

So why wait? Grab your favorite dry herb vaporizer (Don’t have one? Check out my post on the Arizer Solo 2!), slip into your favorite cozy clothes, and start reading!

"Midlife Magic" by Kim Sarsons

Kim Sarsons provides readers with an intimate look at her own journey of self-discovery, offering valuable insights and lessons learned along the way. Whether you’re struggling with midlife challenges or simply looking for a fresh perspective, Midlife Magic is sure to offer plenty of food for thought.

I am absolutely in love with Midlife Magic by Kim Sarsons. She is also a Cannabis Coaching Institute graduate like me (read more about CCI here) and I aspire to write a book like her! This insightful book is packed full of valuable information and practical tips on how to navigate the often-challenging midlife transition with grace and ease, a topic that is very in demand in my coaching practice and in my own life!

Whether you’re new to cannabis or an experienced user, these books offer plenty of useful information about this ancient and sacred plant and how we can use it in our lives.
